Surrealism in photo is a sort of humorous way to put things into photographs using photoshop that should normally not be there.  With this photo Andrew is stuck in his tracks by the roots of trees.  Ivy stretches over his back to pull him in further.  His face shows he is trying not to panic while he is making futile attempt at freedom.
