This particular image was inspired by one of the example photos Ms. Thompson where a person was floating above a corn field held onto by what appeared to be her significant other.  This photo was to try and grasp the boyish wonder of flight and dreams.  The dark boarders were the boarders of his imagination and the bright red balloons seem reminiscent of his childhood.  The overall feeling of the photo is one of turmoil.  Yet, the background seems to be hopeful and positive.  And that is where the boy is traveling.
